Chapter 6 -Werewolves Book

As he ended the conversation with her, placed his hands on the sink in the bathroom, whilst he looked into the mirror before him, wondering how they could go about the issue.

(Ipkis) “There is no way she can escape from the Agelons, they are everywhere around the world and I have my father say, that they never really die. For anyone who dies, such a one comes in another body. They either come back as witches, who becomes a werewolf when they are killed again and are made stringer. So still come back and are stronger, whether they are killed or they die” As he ponders in the bathroom, his father barges into the bathroom.

(Ekroff) “Son, is everything ok? I was worried I didn’t see you for quite some time, what have you been up to? I thought you were gone again, and when I asked around, they told me they saw you enter the house, I had been calling your name and you didn’t answer, I said I was going to call your number if I didn’t see you here. That was the last place I was going to check”.

(Ipkis) “I am alright Dad, just the stress from work, it's nothing serious that I can’t handle”

(Ekroff) “Are you sure you are alright, you know I can sense when you are not alright, your heart thumps differently, when you are under pressure of distress, I am your father and I know this”.

(Ipkis) “I am fine Dad, you know I will come up to you when I have troubles, you have to go take care of your pack, they might be looking for you, you know? And remember it’s your wedding day, you need to go and be with her too”.

(Ekroff) “Alright son, let me go and be with her, but just let me know if you need anything, I mean anything at all”.

(Ipkis) “I will”. Then he breathes down and continues in his line of thought before his father interrupts their conversation. His mind was blank at the time, due to his emotional connection to his father. Meanwhile, as the party went on, some werewolves had already drunk to a stupor and had begun to misbehave, while some were getting unnecessarily romantic around themselves, while he walked out of the bathroom. His heart was where Joana was, and hoped that she was fine, as he continued, he overheard them still talking about it all amongst the werewolves, about some myth of a Sun god and the extinction of their pack. There was a whole mix-up and twist added to what was being said and the political aspect.

Ipkis decided to go see the Clairvoyant, who was also the family doctor to relate what he just heard about the plan to eliminate Joana since he was confused and didn’t know what to do, what to believe, and whom to believe anymore. Too many twisted stories all at the same time, but he has seen Joana, he knows that she is such an innocent lady, who is trying to solve the puzzle of a life she didn’t choose for herself. Then he arrived at the doctor's place at about 8:00 AM the next day;

(Ipkis) “Good morning doctor, how are you today?”

(Doctor Hopkis) “it is good to see you today Ipkis, how is your father and how is the clairvoyant?” he asked about Joana as a clairvoyant, to prevent anyone who might hear them from suspecting anything further, he was determined to keep her existence very discreet.

(Ipkis), “My father is alright, the old man decided to re-marry again yesterday, I think she is from a pack called the Triads, and the clairvoyant I believe is fine, although we haven’t seen each other since I left”.

(Doctor Hopkins) “The triads! Why the triads? These people are very dangerous sets of wolves, they are mostly like lycans and? They are very brutal. Why would your father want to be an in-law to the lycans, why the lycans?

(Ipkis) “That’s why I am here, I overhead them speaking about the arrival of Artemis, the Sun god, through a werewolf, but they don’t know if it’s a woman or man. They only say prophecy has consistently brought forth a man. They aren’t suspecting a thing. I heard them speak about an impending war and the reason why my father had to create the Allegiance with the Triads, was a strategy for victory. I think her life is in danger, the clairvoyant is really in danger, how do I help her, I am troubled, that is why I came to you to seek help. There have been twisted stories about the clairvoyant from my father’s pack present at his wedding, so I didn't know what to believe again.

(Doctor Hopkins) “Ugh! Don’t worry Ipkis, I have got an ancient book about Werewolves, long before the fall and the breakout. At first, we thought it was a disease, but we began to research it until I met an old clairvoyant, who passed it to me, before her demise. I have protected this book with utmost secrecy and discretion, you will find a lot about it in the book. Everything is playing out right before our eyes and there are many prophecies yet to come, I would love you to take a look at it, it will set a lot of things straight with you and erase all confusion you currently have”.

(Ipkis) “That will be fine! I hope it does, because I don’t know what to believe again, the past few days have been just like a dream to me, I don’t know what to think. It is from one surprise to another. First, it was a woman with greenish blood, which has healing properties and now a lot of mystical beliefs are being unraveled as the day goes by. Well, I don’t believe Joana is evil, but the stories are just different from here and there. I believe she is alive as long as they do not know that she is a woman”. I will have the book as you have said, I open it to help out.

(Doctor Hopkins) “I hope you can keep it safe and return it, once you are through with it. I tried making copies with a photocopier, but it doesn’t print over on another paper. It is a mystical book. This is the only one available in the whole world, I didn’t know why the clairvoyant gave me before she passed on, she was a witch you know, but the day I met Joana, I discovered why I was given the book’. Do take care Ipkis, I will have to get to the hospital, I received a call shortly before you came, some werewolf’s son had an injury from a bad cut and it requires surgery, I asked them to help me manage it, before I arrived. So, I have to go.

If I don’t, they might report to the authorities that I refused to treat their child and that means I might be charged to the council and that I will lose my license to practice. I don’t want that, I hope you understand me?”

(Ipkis) “I understand doctor, I have to go too, when I require any help, I will come and see you or ask for it on call”.

(Doctor Hopkis) “That is fine, I hope I can help. I gave you that because only the pure in heart can read and understand it. It is useless in the hands of the unclean-hearted, do take care of yourself. Meanwhile, while all these transpired, Joana was in a dream.
