Lucas wiped the sweat off of his forehead and spread the map. He was getting closer to Darlington, but he thinks it wasn't the lurkers that would kill him, but the scorching heat. Lucas poured the bottled water on his head and continued walking. Whenever he found a store, he would enter and find food and water. This was the only way to fight the hunger and thirst he was feeling. Hraaaar…Hraaaar… Hraaaar…Hraaaar… A lurker came out of a clothing store and stared at Lucas. It slowly approached him, and its hands were flailing on its side while it walked with haste. Lucas took his knife in his pocket and stood in a defensive stance, waiting for the lurker to come at him. Hraaaar…Hraaaar… The lurker snarled and tried grabbing Lucas's arm, but he dodged and stabbed the lurker in the head.
