Honestly, I wasn’t mad about being put on shopping duty with Hope. Spending time with her the past couple of days had been pretty fun. Even when she was bossing me around.
I knew her brother well, and her father had taught me a lot about construction and architecture. Before being offered the Gamma position, I was going to go to college to be an architect.
I was fascinated by the integrity of designing buildings to last the tests of time. Most of that was thanks to Mr. Cole. However, I felt that taking this position was an opportunity for me to honor him.
The gamma protects his Luna, and since Hope was going to be the next Luna, protecting her is what I would do since he was no longer living to do so.
