Once Hope settled down on the plane, she ended up falling asleep. She nestled her head on Noah’s shoulder, and it was good to see him be so accepting. What he did to her really changed the way he was with her. The way he looked at her.
Then, yesterday, she stood up for herself and told us how she really felt. That allowed him to respect her again. If that was all it took to change his views and for him to be honest with her, I would have talked to her about it a long time ago.
