As Mark and I made our way to the Alphas office for the meeting we stayed in character the entire time. I was enjoying our little banter with each other and was calming my nerves a lot, if I admit. We walked with our arms laced around each other and our heads held high like royalty. As we approached the thick, dark oak door, Mark pushed it open and we stepped inside. I released his arm as he bowed again, "Good day, ma'lady."
