Theodore was so tired last night from all his preparations the day before that we laid down and fell asleep in each other's arms. I woke up probably 10 minutes ago just thinking of the events that are about to unfold and then I started thinking about the little bundle of joy I have growing inside my belly currently. Hearing Theodore tell me, he would be happy if I was carrying his child were the exact words I needed. I just need to get through this mess so we can share this joy together. Instinctively, I ran my hand over my belly saying to myself 'Don't worry little one, mommy will make sure you are protected through all of this'.
