I woke up to the sun making its way into the room letting us know that it was time to get up. I stretched and yawned. I felt good. I don't think I have slept that well in a long time. The bed was comfortable but I think it had everything to do with my mate sleeping next to me. His body warmed mine all night, and I felt so safe and protected in his arms. Everything just felt right. I rolled over to snuggle into my man but all I found on the other side of the bed were pillows. His spot wasn't cold, so he probably left not long ago.
