Things seem to have happened so fast. Let's take a step back and view the things which happened to Victor after Kyrell's stab.
When he went home after getting his memory wiped.
"Raphael!" He squeals in delight though he doesn't know why.

Victor was quite confused for a while. All that he remembered was him waking up in the middle of a forest.
"I- uhm- I went to a forest and then I might have slept or fainted." He tells Raphael with an unsure tone.
"Fainted?" Raphael worries.
"Are you alright? Do you need a doctor?" He thought something was wrong with Victor.
