Thalia’s POV:
But all along Erik wanted my mother. He never really desired me and even if he took care of me it was because I could grow up under him and kill my mother as per his orders and then maybe be thrown inside a room forever. But now he couldn’t do that because I was his mate. The moon goddess didn’t create mates or this bond to be weak or easily broken.
Gasping, I feel down on the bed that was given to me by Erik. He was my master, my king and my entire life. My heart was aching, terribly with extreme pain. My eyes wanted to brim tears but I couldn’t cry. I just couldn’t. What was my fault in all of this? It was my mother a along. Even Olesia wanted my mother to die, she treated me like that so I could kill my mother.
