A-LeagueJarrod was caught somewhat between his official duties as a Socceroos player and having his family all together. He let Coach Jim know, and Mike Jerszek took Jarrod aside at the training session on the Saturday afternoon to discuss it. Jarrod would be able to spend the mornings and evenings with his family, but there were certain obligations that were non-negotiable. The first of which was after training, when the whole squad was due at AAMI Park to attend the A-League game between Melbourne Victory and Western United, somewhat of a local derby. The 4:00 p.m. kick-off was perfect. They would take in the game and then Jarrod would meet up with his family for dinner.
