AngstThe Friday night game was now a big thing in Australia. Since LF Sports had taken over coverage of pretty much all football in the country, they had muscled in on the NRL and AFL and gone head-to-head with the traditional Friday night footy, making this one a free-to-air game on TV every week, and it was a massive hit. The pre-game and post-game shows were fantastic viewing, and a full preview of the weekend’s fixtures made it a very popular show. Jarrod had a call from Mr Leonard to let him know of LF Sports’ offer to be involved in this Friday’s show. Sure enough, just as he was heading back to the apartment from dinner, he traded texts with the producers and received a call to ask him to come in tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. for the evening.
