PartnerLife for the Black family was arriving at some sort of normality. Mum and Dad were long gone back to Sydney, Anna and Elin had moved into their funky apartment in Fitzroy and they were all in the groove of their respective football careers. Marianne had been networking regularly in the city to try and secure an opening in a sports management role or even in TV presenting, something that she had flirted with in the past in England. She was in no hurry though and was happy to spend extended time with the kids in the lead-up to them starting school. Seb was delighted to be heading to an all-boys’ school after being wooed by the principal on their open day, but Aneka was distraught at having to join an all-girls’ school in the opposite direction, finally being split up from her brother.
