Texi Smith is a part-time writer of fiction as well as a reporter for TheRoar.com.au where he writes regularly on Australian football, and for whom he has been fortunate to cover the 2022 World Cup. In-between, he has a full-time IT consultancy, he has run ten Sydney Marathons, he plays football in an Over 45s league, referees, and is dad to two teenage children.

Originally from Newcastle in England, he has lived in Sydney for more than 20 years.

Jarrod Black Chasing Pack is his fifth novel and the fourth in the Jarrod Black series of unashamed football fiction. The fifth was about Jarrod’s sister, Anna Black.
