I moved faster than I thought. One moment I was in the doorway. The next I was between Rylan and Kendra, talons out, my hybrid status pumping power through me like an IV bag of adrenaline. Every nerve screamed at me to rip this woman to shreds. She was in our room. Near our children. Near my mate. Threatening everything I loved.
