Suddenly there was a knock on the door, Deidra’s voice called from the other side, "honey, are you okay in there?"
Shelly covered herself with her hands, pained by Deidra’s concern. She reached for a towel to cover herself.
Her eyes looked hatefully at her own reflection as she called to the door, "I'm fine Deidra,” she willed her voice not to crack, not to betray her. “But I need to go out soon so can we catch up later?"
