(Evans POV)
"M-miss Ellie!..." I stuttered out and quickly pushed Aaron away. I felt so bad doing that.
"May I know why you are just sitting around while at work?" My eyes widened. THAT'S why she interrupted our moment? seriously??
"S-sorry! I'll go right back to work!!" I said, and quickly rushed to the counter and started sorting out some papers. Ellie exited the shop afterwards and I sighed.
I didn't have to push him away like that. Great, now I feel awful.
No longer than two minutes later Aaron came next to me and helped sort out the receipts. I tried to steal some glances, he didn't have any specific expression on his face. That scared me, did I infuriate him!?.. does he hate me now??
I cleared my throat and slowly looked up at him.
I was scared, what if he didn't forgive me??
