Elizabeth furrowed her eyebrows and subtly moved away his hand after following Farrah with her suspicious gaze. He noticed that, though, so he gazed at her innocently. She crossed her arms as if she was going to bombard him with a lot of questions. Her both eyebrows were serious, her nostrils flaring with cold rage, and her lips pouted. “What did you say to her?” she asked him and tilted her head. “She seems not happy about what you were saying. Don’t forget that I am trying not to upset any of my mother and sister. Don’t do something bad.” Cross shrugged playfully. “Nothing! I just told her that your house is modern, old-fashioned, and huge,” he said and grinned. “And then she said that I am already insulting it.” She arched her eyebrow. “It’s just… a compliment. Why would she get mad?
