I can’t explain what I feel when I see Nada so helpless, so vulnerable and frustrated. Her eyes are beseeching and I have to do something to help Nada.
Nina looks dead serious and I swear she might do something I have never imagined she could have done before. I am going to negotiate with Nina to let her go.
I hope the police get here sooner. I look at Nina then to Nada and when I see those teary begging eyes, I know it is my call to do all I can to save her.
I feel my tears welling up in my eyes and trust me it is not my intention to cry but for Nada, I can. I take two strides forward but Nina stops me by pointing the gun at me.
