Davie tries to come in when we get home but I intentionally push him out. I know it is not the right thing to do but I want to be alone.
I want to think and call myself to a meeting, I want to know where I am wrong so that I can correct it before I go back to Nada.
‘’Don’t try me, Neal. I am not leaving you here when you look like s**t! I am not here to debate with you so don’t even argue.’’
For the first time ever since I met Davie, I feel like he is being this guy who says things as they are. He is looking at me straight in the eye so I surrender. I cannot believe that I am doing this to myself.
I step aside but he doesn’t walk past me as I expected. He pushes me gently and I stagger a little but I don’t fall.
