The Betrayal

Raven felt like she wanted to punch Jane when she saw her next.

This looked to be shaping up as the easiest three million she ever made. Of course things could go wrong but it really it felt like a newbie could do this job.

Raven stopped and took a deep breath because she knew to go after Jane would mean she might lose her and she kind of of need her to run her life and Raven was too busy killing people to concertante on the busy side of things.

Raven felt off though, just something had been bother her for a few months now but could not pinpoint it because everything seemed fine but she still couldn't shake that something drastic was going to happen.

Raven looked out the window of the sky rise to the building next door waiting for her target to get on the location she had marked.

She looking down at her watch from the sniper scope and notice her mark should be arriving in the next ten minutes but she had been looking into this marks habits for the last few months since jane got the request.

She looked back at the scope then started playing with her black jade necklace in the shape of a dragon, she got given it on a job a few years back by an older man as a thank you gift. she felt drawn to it the moment she saw it, plus it always felt warm and comforting. You do not get that much in this line of work but it helped.

sighing again Raven looking at her watch and saw that time had gone by quickly and she only a three more minutes till the target was due then she heard a soft click.

That made her alert within seconds just as a grenade was thrown into the room, she lifted her harms to block some of the blow but throw her against the glass, making it crack but not breaking it.

The ringing in her ears were painful but she fought the darkness and saw several figures walk into the room and the person walking at the forefront was Jane.

“Why?” Raven knew she was shouting but she could barely hear over the ringing.

Jane walking forward with deliberate and sinister steps towards Raven, Jane hated Raven so much so that she had been planning on killing her for a some time but this was not going to be quick.

Once Jane got a certain distance to Raven she bent down to make sure Raven could see her face, Raven may not be able to hear properly but she can read lips.

“I hate you, it has taken me a long time to gather your enemies but here we are”

Jane lifts her hands of her knees and lifts them to wave at the people around her.

When Jane turns back to Raven, her smile grows bigger but waves her hand to one of the men to tie Raven quickly. She doesn't fight but looks at Jane and doesn't take her eyes off her prey.

“Still doesn't answer my question of why?”

Raven needed to know why Jane would do this, then it might make sense but she kept a cool head, knowing losing herself would not help.

“Because Gabe should of chosen me”

That stop Raven short because that she was aware of Jane had only met Gabe once years ago.

“I can see you are confused Raven, i had known Gabe for a long time and wanted him to teach me and he would of caved to me asking in the end but no he just had to find a rat on the job and try to teach it to become a lion, Pathetic.”

Jane said this with a look of pure rage and Raven saw that Jane couldn't hold her face expression for this was a very strong emotion but Raven could see lust in there as well, so it seems Jane was in love with Gabe or lust at the very least.

Raven needed to use this because she knew what those men wanted to do to her before killing her and she was not going to die like that and would take as man of them out including Jane before she allowed that to happen.

“You know he barely tolerated you, we both had a private joke of the skank in heels”

Jane’s smile dropped of her face and her face scrunching up then she stands and walks over to some of the men looking me with lust in there eyes.

Jane turns back around then walks towards me, she gets close to my face.

“These men are going to have fun with you, then once they are done i am going to kill you” she pulls her face back the smile at Raven but just as she does she notices Ravens smile and head buts Jane causing her screech out and lifts her hands to stop the bloody nose.

Raven had been playing with the rope they used and managed to get herself lose but held it till that moment, she pulled the secreted knife in her boot and attacked the first man next to her slicing his throat like a knife would jelly.

Then she launches herself to the man next to them and stabbing him in the eye sock causing him to scream then yanks it out with the eyeball then stabbing him in the throat.

Raven gets to her feet quickly pulling out her knife that is lodged in the throat and another knife in her boot.

She turns round to see Jane looking at her in horror and the other men left with guns raised in Ravens direction.

“You will stop or we will just shot you now” One guy says but Raven notices he was shaking, good he needs to be afraid.

Raven stands straight and takes a step forward causing them all to yell stop but she takes another then lifts her left to her hair and pulls out the long needles, she throws then landing the throat of one man and in the heart of another.

Jane takes a step back then decided that this needs to end and pulls out another grenand which causes Raven to stop.

“You will stop Raven and you will take what these men give you before you die, i will get my revenge”

Raven looks at Jane and knows she needs to end this because Jane has truly lost it.

Raven looked at her surroundings and saw a large window with cracks in it behind Jane and the others and she knew then what needed to be done then looked a Jane.

Jane saw the sudden determined look on Ravens face and on instinct took out the pin and throw it at Raven but Raven was already running towards Jane, she could her the screams for duck then launch herself at Jane taking them both throw the window.

Raven knew that they would not survive the fall but for her piece of mind she kept a hold of Jane and stabbed her several times in her vital organs then let go.

As the Ground face approached Raven knew she had a least got rid of the crazy lady that was Jane but felt bad that might of killed people she was not ment to but nothing she could do now. she brought her fingers to hear necklace then felt warmer and heard her name being called.

Then oblivion…….
