Celestine's POV: My blood boiled in anger on the way he treated me right now. He should be thankful that I was kind enough to cook him breakfast. Yesterday, when he asked me to be the Luna I was shocked and immediately wanted to refuse. But the incidents of the previous night came into my mind and a huge part of me said me that this was what I was destined to be. Moon Goddess cannot be wrong and I think she really wants me to take this responsibility or she would have never given me such a hateful mate. And even after everything I'm here sitting and cooking for this man. I wish I could just poison that bastard. All he knows is to hurt and disrespect people. I hate selfish and cunning people like him who just use people for their needs. All they care about is their attitude. Feelings don't matter to them and that is why today I've become this way. Broken from inside and emotionally exhausted. The pain and hurt is killing me little by little every passing second. It wasn't long before I heard a sharp knock on the door. I hurriedly opened it and I was met by a beautiful woman. She looked like she was in her early twenties. Her red lips were a contrast to her pale skin and she looked badass in the black leather jacket and pants. Her brown hair was put up in a high ponytail. She smiled warmly at me. I returned her smile as I easily became comfortable. "Hello! I am Evangeline. You can call me Eve." I raised my hand to shake hers but she just smiled and pulled me into a hug.  "I'm Celestine." "Come I'll say you everything you need to know." "Ischyrós." "Huh." "That is what we are called. We are the strongest and if someone tries to break the peace of all the werewolf communities or has harmful intentions we capture them. You stayed under the Dark Blood Pack. But we captured them as they were trying to break out a war. That is why now their land is ours as we have killed their army and given shelter to those who have bow down to us." "Okay I understand." "So I'll first say you how things work around here. See everything here is modern just like it is in the city. In fact we stay a lot far away from the main city but we have house all over. And there are many members of the pack who stay in the city. Especially the informers and some warriors. We have Lycans quarters all over the city. So actually we buy a big land where at least three or four houses can be made and they take their families along with them. We actually use human security there and the property as well as the house is secured. It is hard even for a supernaturals to break inside the premises." "This is a really innovative way of keeping every thing in line. It is very different and I'm surprised that you guys like other packs don't just stay together but claim the place in this way." "Yes because we do business with many other werewolf companies and some companies headed by humans. We have business almost in every field and have connections all over the world because who wouldn't like to talk with the only pack of Lycans in the world." "How many members are there in your pack?" "We have 570 Lycans and there are additional pack members of the Dark Blood Pack. I think there are around 150 members. All the way from here to the main city there are houses which are hidden behind forest trees and the pack members stay there. There is not even a single place in this city where our men are no there. " "But what about the border problems with the humans?" "Oh don't worry about that. There is a magical portal which every pack has and we use it to travel from one place to another only for pack business and that too in urgent cases. We also have many private jets. So transportation is never a problem. Also being such a big and influential business man has its perks." "Who can use the magic portal?" "Alpha' Luna , Alpha's entire family and the Beta and his female." I nodded her head processing all the information. "We have reached the pack house." I gasped in surprise as my eyes fell  at the magnificent pack house. It was sparkling white and the inside was also beautiful and modern."  "This is the pack house. But we'll go in there later because it is extremely big." She drove the car away. "This is the pack hospital." She pointed to the hospital near to the pack house. "Everything here looks and works like a city. " "Yeah the big buildings towards the main city is our company offices where only Lycans and werewolves work. And in the city there are company offices where the humans and the werewolves who want to stay there work. We allow our people to work for other companies but the majority of them work for their Alpha. "  "Okay. Where are we going now?" My question was left unanswered and she motioned with her head to  look at all the markets. They were decorated and organized beautifully. Modern but an ancient feel to it. After a short ride, they reached three big buildings. "This smaller one is for playschool and middle school. The one in the middle is high school and the one beside it is pack college. Hope it is not a lot in one day." "Oh no it's not." Her stomach grumbled as it was late and time for lunch. She looked away embarrassed. We went around the market the entire day and I flushed around the curious glances of all the pack members. Every person here was taller than me and they looked like they were carved. The power was oozing out of them. Of course, none of them matched to the big bad Alpha but they looked more intimidating than normal werewolves. Finally the day came to an end and I tried to understand everything I could about this place. It was all very different that it would be hard seeing Lycans living a normal life like in cities. And the fact that I am seeing Lycans for the first time doesn't help. By the time I reached home, I was so tired that I could barely stand straight. I stumbled and fell on the couch. And as soon as my head hit it I was out like a hog.  A girl smiled shyly as she moved all her to one shoulder putting her bare back on display and giving her a much more appealing look. She wore a dark red dress hugging her curves at all the right places and put on some neutral makeup. "You look hot." Her friend shouted from behind her. She smiled seeing her friend's reaction. "Imagine having an Alpha as a mate. It will be so hot. The aura around them is just so powerful." "Yeah but a normal she-wolf can never have an Alpha mate. So there is no need to imagine." "You're wrong. I've heard that Alpha have omega as a mate too." Her friend said. "In w*****d stories." She answered. "No in real. Think how surreal feeling it would be." "I think the feeling of meeting your mate is same in case of everyone whether it is a normal wolf or an Alpha. Power cannot define love and happiness. So whether my mate is an alpha or not I don't care. I just hope to meet the love of my life." "I'm sure you will meet today. So many people from so many packs are coming. I'm sure you'll find your mate today and if not we can always ogle at handsome men." Her friend laughed getting a 'seriously kind of look' from her. She just shrugged in return. "Do you know the stronger the male, more painful is the heat. I've heard that it pains so much that one cannot even move from the bed for days if they're far away from their mate." Before she could respond. "Come on, girls." A woman's voice shouted from downstairs. "Let's go and rock it." I woke up startled and took a deep breath. I smelled pine and trees and tilted my head to see Lucian standing in front of the kitchen table. Our eyes met and my breath caught in my throat. His deep eyes stared intensely at my face like he was tracing every pore of my skin with his laser sharp eyes. Before I could do something careless and embarrassing, I ran into my room. I'm sure he must have heard me talking in my sleep. I didn't have time to worry about anything because Eve would be back again tomorrow.
