Destined

Episode 9

Celestine's POV:

I grumbled and hit something as I turned around to sleep peacefully. I felt someone pushing my shoulders continuously annoying me more. Gosh, who is this ? I yelled out still not ready to open my eyes. I smiled as I no longer felt more disturbance and buried my face in my hands.

"If you don't wake up now I'll put you in the bathtub." I heard a deep, familiar voice say which of course I chose to ignore.

"Go away." I replied oblivious to what is going to happen next. Before I knew what was happening I am in mid air and then thrown into the pool. I huffed and pulled myself out of the water brushing the hair out of my face. 

"Why did you throw me in the pool?" I pointed my finger at him and shouted.

"I warned you." He said narrowing his eyes.

"But you said about the bathtub. Why did you throw me here?" He rolled his eyes in annoyance and suddenly we were interrupted by a big squeal. My eyes followed the noise and landed on a small women who looked the same size as me minus her big bump. 

"Luke bear", she said and ran towards him holding her arms wide like a small baby and flung herself into his arms. My eyes went to the tall,handsome man behind her who was following her to hold her if she fell down. He and Lucas bumped their fists and did all that boy stuff. I was feeling the odd one out standing inside the pool. The woman left my mate and settled into the arms of the other man, who seems to be her mate. 

Their eyes then landed on me and her eyes glistened in the morning sun. 

"Hey! You must be Celestine. I can smell my brothers' smell all over you. I'm Katherine. Evangeline has said me a lot of things about you." 

Oh so she's his sister.

I returned her warm smile and answered, "I hope they're all good things."

"Oh, they're very good and seeing you I can already tell why my brother loves you so much."

My eyes widen hearing her statement and I look at Lucas to silently ask him about what his sister is saying and why he never said me about her. He looked at me and smiled sweetly pretending to know nothing about what I was asking.

"I'm sorry, love. I forgot to inform you that they're about to come."as 

"Of course you did. Since you finally met your mate, you are so engrossed in her that you don't remember such trivial matters." She teased. I blushed and averted my eyes towards the water. 

"Now what are you doing standing here? Your mate is in the pool and you're not even there to help her out." She nagged at him. I raised my eyebrows as he motioned me with his head to come at the edge of the pool.

I guess he really wants to hide the truth of our relationship from his cousin. And immediately an idea popped into my head. I'm going to take revenge for throwing me here. I smiled at him mischievously and swam to the end of the pool where he pulls me up like effortlessly. Instantly I hugged him using my wet body to make his clothes wet too. 

He subtly tried to stop me from destroying his clothes but I was determined to use this opportunity in my favour. 

"Looks like your Luna doesn't want to leave you too." chuckled our guests. 

"Yeah she's been moody lately. " He smiled a little too sweetly for my liking. And then in a swift movement he picked me up in bridal style and put on a show for our guests holding me tight. My heart was beating loudly in my chest and tingles spread all over my body as my hormones were raging all over. He smirked knowing that the mate bond was working its magic on me and miraculously he wasn't affected by it. 

"Make yourself at home. I need to tend to my girl." He smiled at them and entered the house. He glared at me daring me to defy him. I kept quiet till we reached our floor and he ran to his room using his Lycan speed whizzing in the air. I was thrown on the bed before I could even blink.

"Why am I in your room ?"

"Because we are a couple in love for my sister and her mate."

"Why are you hiding the truth of our relationship from her?"

"This is a truth only we are supposed to know and no one else. Because I'm the Alpha Lycan and I'm not going to disclose my weakness. So from now we're going to behave like we're insanely in love."

"Why didn't you inform me of their arrival before?"

"I was about to, but someone decided to sleep like a hog here."

 My lips twitched as I asked, "What do I wear?"

"Clothes." 

"Oh no, I was thinking of wearing leaves. You opened my eyes to a new civilisation." I rolled my eyes.

I was pinned to the bed, my  hands above my head. 

"Do not roll your eyes at me." He said in his deep, masculine voice sending shivers down my spine. 

"I want my clothes." He looked at me for a while before leaving my hands and brought back some clothes from my wardrobe. 

"Why did you bring me two skirts?"

"Just wear whatever i brought fast. And find something from my closet. Just don't irritate me." He said annoyed. I took a quick shower while he was pacing around the room. Wiping my hair with a towel, and wrapping another around my body I stepped out of the shower to reach for my clothes. My hand halted in the air as I realised that I forgot to bring a shirt and was now left with no top. 

I considered calling Lucien but figured he would blast if he hears my voice anymore. I put on my undergarments and a skirt and holding the towel to my chest I opened the door trying not to think about his reaction. 

"Finally, you're h-" His words halted as he looked at me. Our eyes met and the colour of his eyes changed from blue to golden to black. His intense stare rooted me right where I was standing. He stared right through my soul. My heart was beating crazily as he stepped towards me slowly. With each step he took towards me, I took one behind me till I reached the wall. Butterflies were fluttering all over my stomach and it was hard to control my body which wanted nothing, but to jump on the very fine specimen of man in front of me. My skin flushed as he came near and near till there was only a inch between our bodies. I closed my eyes unable to take the intensity of his closeness. 

I gasped as I felt warm air on my neck and gripped the towel tightly. His intoxicating smell invaded me senses, cooling me down and making me hot together. His face inched towards my ear as he whispered, 

"Don't bite your lips."

It's been a long time since I've updated because of my busy schedule but like every other time I'll try me best to update fast.
