Chapter 38: Morning Kiss

1242 Words

Piper’s POV Moments later, I heard a loud laugh from the other end of the phone. Megan laughed loudly. Maybe she was laughing at Jay’s warning. I already suspected this. She is not a woman who gives up easily when her desires are in her hands. “Jessie, Jensen, let’s just sit there and let your dad take the call first,” I asked them. So, I took their hands, walked away from Jay and sat on the long chairs available along the aisle. Throughout the conversation between Jay and Megan, I saw the look on Jay’s face unhappy. The tone of his voice seemed to hold emotions that were ready to explode like a volcano ready to spew out all the hot lava. It seems like their relationship hasn’t been all right. May there be a way out of the strangeness of the relationship between the three of us?
