"a huge mansion, multiple cars millions of dollars multiple farmhouses, and thousands of guards to secure you yet you think you don't have anything ?"
"Yes Dad I don't own any of these things you're right I have multiple cars but what is the use of cars when I can't drive by myself, I have a farmhouse but what is the use when I can't visit often you're right I have millions of dollars but what is the use when I can't go out to buy things huh and about guards they all make me feel as I'm living in a police station "
Her father's eyes start getting teary
"Lyra why can't you understand it's for your security sweetheart "
"why the heck do I need this much security, Dad?"
"did you forget whose daughter are you?"

"then stop arguing and yeah you have to attend interviews with me tomorrow"
"Interviews ?" she repeated
"I have arranged interviews for your bodyguard "
"Dad but why do I need a bodyguard when I can protect myself ?" she inquired
"sweetheart you don't even know how to use a gun right isn't it what you said earlier "

"I have to go somewhere tonight and you won't refuse right ?"
His dad sighed and nodded

"And what's the second condition ?" he asked
"As you are asking for my presence tomorrow so I'm gonna choose the guard by myself "
"Okay done but I've to approve him also, " Her Dad said
She smiled
"I should probably get ready " She headed to her room
"Which dress should I wear ?" she asked herself but she was distracted by a knock
"Come in," she said
"Kate, what are you doing here ?" she asked while looking at the woman who was taking off her black goggles
That lady walked toward her
She hugged her sophistically
"How are you Lyra dear " she tried to make her accent calm and beautiful
"I'm good what about you? " Lyra asked
"Ah I'm doing kinda good too "
Lyra faked a smile at her
"oh by the way your Dad called me "
Lyra rolled her eyes in irritation
"so what did he say?" she inquired
"he told me that you have a meeting to attend tomorrow "
"so he asked you to design a dress for me isn't it ?" she asked
That lady start laughing even tho it was not supposed to be funny
"Oh Miss Lyra you're so intelligent "
"I guess I'm," she said in a low tone
"Anyways here are the catalogues "
Lyra walked toward her bed
"Ah this girl didn't even offer me to sit " Kate whispered to herself while walking towards Lyra
"Is it supposed to be for a business meeting huh ?" Lyra said while pointing at the yellow dress which was barely covering the model
"you didn't like it ?"
"No "Lyra start turning the pages but then she stopped at the maroon long coat with a black high-necked shirt and a black pant
"I want this one "
"Aww I knew that you'll gonna choose it after all everyone loved that dress but none of them bought it as it was too expensive," Kate said while chuckling
Lyra signed
"does it cost 10 million?" she asked
"huh oh no it's not that much expensive "
"then how much does it cost "
"Why are you asking I mean you never ask about the price ?'
"ah nevermind, I think you should leave as it's too late," Lyra said with a fake concerned look
Kate faked a smile at her
"That i***t I don't know why Dad choose her to be my designer, " Lyra said when she noticed Kate had left
"ahh I don't know how her father tolerates her," Kate said while putting on her goggles
Lyra took her white high-necked shirt with blue jeans and a Brown jacket
After changing she tied the laces of her black sneakers before getting out of her room she took her Gucci bag with her and headed out of her room seeing three guards standing there
Thrice of them looked away as they couldn't even look into her eyes as if she will kill them just by staring at them
She rolled her eyes and headed downwards seeing her Dad walking into the Hallway
"Aw sweetheart you're ready "
She nodded and headed out of the mansion
But her expression changed from happy to sad one when she saw a guy almost in his late 30s in front of her
"You're going to join me?" she asked
He nodded
Lyra glared at him
"uhm I'm sorry but I have to " he whispered
Lyra put on her Brown goggles before getting out of the mansion
She got into the car
"Mr. Lee?" she took the attention of the guy sitting in the front seat beside the driver
"Why do you always obey my Dad " she irritatedly asked
"it's my job " he replied
She starts imitating him luckily none of them noticed her
"Miss Lyra where should I drop you "
She smiled before saying
"Can you take me to La Vue Waterfront Restaurant"
"Sure ma'am," the driver said
Their journey was filled with the songs of Ed Sheeran's songs
Finally, they stopped the car Lee and Lyra got out of the car
She starts inhaling deep breaths until Lee Asked
"Why do you always choose this place, ma'am?"
"I don't know but I love this place since my childhood," she said while having a seat
The manager greeted them before taking their order
Lyra was looking at the River and she rewind some memories of her childhood but there was sorrow in her heart she hid it with her shiny eyes
She looked at the sky and smiled while admiring the stars she didn't often smiles but this is the place she loved sadly she barely gets permission to go out
