the whole mansion was filled with silence only the sound of my heals collapsing on the floor was hearable
"Miss Lyra lunch is ready, " one of the maids said
"I don't have an appetite " I replied while continuing to walk towards the stairs
I entered my room and threw my bag and goggles on the bed
"Why do I have to live like this " I closed my eyes and try to calm myself down
I took off my coat and lay down on the bed
"A little goodbye to everyone, " I said while closing my eyes but then my phone started ringing
I switched off the phone without even looking at the caller id
Within a few minutes, I fell asleep

"So how was your interview?" a guy asked while taking off his acoustic tube
He sighed before opening his mouth
"I didn't give any interview "
The guy standing beside him covered his mouth with his hands
"Lower your voice, if you didn't give any interview then why did you come here? You know him he'll kill you if he finds out that you didn't attend the interview "
"Who said I didn't attend?" he asked
"You just said it a while ago "
"Yes I did but I didn't say that I didn't attend the interview, and I got the job"
He hugged him "Ugh Zedd I'm so happy that you finally got the job "
"Herry but I don't want it " his face was filled with empathy
"But you have to, he won't let something happen to you I know him for the past 6 years "
"But why he wants me to be her guard ?" he asked with curiosity

"I can't tell you about that, sorry "
Zedd looked down and was lost in his thoughts

She opened my eyes when my stomach growled and tried to ignore but the starvation got out of control
"ah why do I feel hungry " She settled down on the bed she decided to sleep again but then
"make sure to have your meals on time " She recalled what was written on the letter she sighed
"I don't know whoever you're but you always make sure that I don't die,"
She finally stood up and she wore her slippers and start walking towards the door but when she unlocked the door she saw 3 guards standing in the hallway
"I wonder when you guys sleep "She got annoyed and headed downstairs while facing guards at every point
"Where are you going ma'am, " one of them asked
"I'm escaping wanna join ?" she said
That guy was shocked and stood in front of her
"you can't go anywhere "
"ugh, these idiots, you think I'll run away from here at this time? Yes I do hate leaving here but why would I just escape "
She pushed him slightly and headed toward the kitchen
That guard kept following her but she didn't say anything as she was starving
She opened the refrigerator and saw a bowl of salad
She rolled her eyes
"Can't believe I have to eat this ugh" she said while taking it out
"Ma'am you can't eat it as it was prepared 4 hours ago " the guard spoke
"Then what should I eat huh ?" she questioned
"I'll bring chief for you," he said
"Well I don't think Dad is watching you right now so shut up and let me do whatever I want to, "she said
But that guy just snatched the bowl from her hands
"you'll get sick "
"Dad's pet," she said without caring how would he feel
"ma'am let me call the chief "
"Okay then call her within 3 minutes "
"noted," he said while rushing towards to servant quarter
She sat on the kitchen chair and placed it beside the counter
"Mr.Aonymouss why do you always make sure that I have my meals "An unnoticeable smile appeared on her face
Soon the chief entered the kitchen with sleepy eyes but she managed to prepare a fresh salad for Lyra

"Sir you need anything ?" the guy wearing a black suit said while standing beside him, who was sitting on the couch placed in front of the huge window showing the Garden of the Mansion
"Just a glass of water" he replied without even looking at him
The guy nodded and left
He turns on his lap which was placed on the table in front of the couch
He looked at the emails and was about to turn them off but then he looked at the news on the very first tab of the web
"A psycho Man killed 2 men yesterday and police are trying their best to find him"
His lips turned into a smirk that's when a guy entered with a glass of water
"Sir here you go," he said while serving him the water
"look at this Herry," he said while taking the glass filled with water
Herry was shocked when he read the text
"Did you really ?" he asked with hesitation
He proudly smirked
"Anyways leave this, tell me is your cousin ready for the job even if he doesn't then make sure to "
"Yes sir he is, " Herry said in one go
"Good for him," he said while putting the glass on the table
"you can leave now " he ordered and Herry was about to leave but then
"Ask Zedd to come here before 5:15 am "Isn't it too ear_" Herry stopped when he saw his fierce look
"Sure I will! " he covered and left
