That's when they heard the collapsing of brown monk shoes

"Just 40 seconds what's a big deal," Zedd said in a chill tone making him chuckle in a sarcastic way
"Are you planning to go there like this?" he said while gesturing at his clothes but when he looked at his shoes he was astounded
"you should have bought new shoes and clothes, I wonder what did you wear yesterday for the interview "

Lyra threw her AirPods and got out of the gym
"MISS LYRA "her gymnastic keep calling her but she walked towards her room and then took her clothes out from the walk-in closet without even looking at them
She entered the bathroom
She let her tears mix with the water
She was crying while showering after taking a long shower she changed into baggy clothes and dried her hair and headed downstairs for the breakfast
She sat at the dining table and looked at her father
"Good morning princess "
"Dad I would appreciate it if you would stop calling me princess !"
Her dad nodded and maids serve them their breakfasts
"Your gymnastic told me what you did to her " her dad spoke when took the very first bite of the sandwich she tried to stay calm
"Dad I didn't say anything she was the one who argued "
"Daughter be a little respectful "
She tightened her fists but keep eating

She stood up from her chair
"Dad please at least let me live my life normally I DONT WANT TO LIVE LIKE THIS, I'M GROWN UP NOW " She raised her voice a bit and was about to leave the dining area when she saw Zedd at the door

"Have breakfast, " her dad said to him

Lyra threw herself on her bed and start massaging her head as she was having a headache she was disturbed by a knock
"Who?" she asked while standing up

"I got the job yesterday, I hope you remember " his deep husky voice took her into a dream world for a second
"my dad choose you, I didn't so why would I remember you " She rolled her eyes
"Miss Lyra, I know you didn't choose me but your dad choose me for you "
She stood and pointed at the door
"you may leave as I'm not in the mood for arguing "
He nodded but then he called her name
"Miss Lyra?"
She raised her eyebrow
"Mr. Noah assigned me to be your guard for 6 months only"
"why are you telling me this?" she questioned
"Just to tell you that you just have to tolerate me for 6 months only " he walked out of the room leaving Lyra dumbfounded
Meanwhile, Zedd was approached by a guard
"You're Miss Lyra's new guard right ?"
He nodded
"Mr. Noah wants to meet you "
"okay " he start following that guy who ended his journey in the living room where Noah was waiting for him
"have a seat," Noah said while pointing at the sofa placed right opposite to his
"Yes, Mr Noah you called me ?"
"Look I know you're a well-mannered guy and know to respect elders I want you to train my daughter "
"Excuse me? Didn't you assign me to be her bodyguard ?"
Noah chuckled
"yes I did but this morning I realized that my daughter should be trained properly as my daughter should know basic martial art and she should have the perfect diet with good manners and I know you'll not gonna refuse "
"Mr. Noah I can't without her opinion "
