I stand in the cabin, feeling the soft wood of the floor beneath my feet as I hear the gentle rocking of the yacht on the water. The hour is late, and the tension of the day has exhausted me. "Paul..." I say softly, calling to him with a calmness I didn't have earlier. "I think I'm getting sleepy. Maybe it would be better if I went to bed..." Paul looks at me and smiles gently. He takes my hand and pulls me closer to him inside the cabin. The warmth of his body makes me feel safe and calm, even though I know that my presence beside him in a place filled with tension all day long has been one long psychological game.
