Lilian’s POV:
I barely could sleep all night, worried about Allegra’s reaction to the interrogation that was about to happen. I would probably have to make harsh decisions, and the hardest part of being a mom or a coven’s leader was when you have to deliver some punishment. It takes a lot of you, and you are always worried if you made the right decision or not.
At 5:30 in the morning, I could not take any other minute laying on my bed and went downstairs to make some coffee. I was in a silent kitchen when my mom came from her room and sat beside me.
“Well, I saw a light on and came to see who was up this early. Normally, only the warriors wake up before the sun like this, and I can count on my fingers the number of days that I saw you wake up before the sun. What’s going on, precious?”
