These last few days had been very busy behind the scenes of the coven, and the news was pilling up: we had barely recovered from one problem and then another was coming to take its place. But it was still great to see a little life returning to Nicholas's eyes. Knowing that he was fine and that he had a difficult decision to make on his own, I made him feel free to tell my mother or not what Cassandra had said about his father.
