Apothec’s face cannot be described. A mixture of confusion and worry appeared there as he stared at me. However, I am serious about what I just said. I’m not sure about Harry though.
“I’m serious, Apothec. I am more than willing to save this world as much as you do,” I said as I met his eyes.
“Me, too,” Harry said as well.
Apothec’s head turned towards Harry and then me. After a few minutes, he nodded and released a heavy sigh.
I looked at Harry and smiled. There is no other time that I felt so thankful to him than now. After all, this is the first time that I saw him think of someone else other than himself. In the real world, all I saw in him is his desire towards winning the case at whatever cost. Here, he is thinking of sacrificing his dear life for others to live. H
