I blinked when I saw where it landed.
“You’re going in for the mission,” Gareth said. “You’ll be given a compass and a map to help you find your way through that part of the woods. Scout the area, see what you can find, and report back to me as soon as you return.”
My jaw dropped. Is he insane?! That was the same place Silver was found. That part of the woods was more dangerous than death itself. He can’t just send a stranger into that place—alone?
