Silver sat quietly on the wooden bench near the edge, pouring water on his face and head. He kept complaining that his head felt like it was splitting in two. His breathing had slowed, but his eyes still carried that haunted look—like he was half here and half stuck in whatever flashes had attacked him back at the crash site. He also looked like he was in pain. Looking at him now, I couldn't help but remember what Agatha said yesterday—that Silver's memory loss wasn't natural and that someone was stopping him from remembering who he was.
