KAIA'S POV The shadows grew taller, darker, and more solid, right before our very eyes. They weren’t just mist anymore. They looked almost like people. Three VERY ugly people if I may add. Their bodies twisted and shifted as if they couldn’t decide what shape to keep. I swallowed heavily as I watched. You have got to be kidding me.
