KAIA’S POV The three of us—Leander, Everett, and I—arrived at Doctor Grayson’s house within minutes. My heart was still pounding from the explosion. The night air carried smoke and ash. It was heavy and choking, making it hard to breathe. The moment we turned onto the house, my jaw dropped. The sight before me was nothing short of destruction. Doctor Grayson’s home—usually warm, peaceful, and filled with Dawn’s laughter—was now a broken shell. The walls were split open, one whole side of the house collapsed inward.
