KAIA'S POV I sat at the training ground, with my back pressed against the rough bark of an old tree. My eyes followed Mia, Lina, and Sera as they moved through drills with the younger trainees. Sweat glistened on their foreheads as they shouted out instructions or corrected stances. My arm didn’t hurt much anymore, but it still wasn’t ready for this kind of training.
