THIRD POV Alpha Gareth watched Kaia walk away across the training ground, his gaze drawn helplessly to the soft sway of her dark hair and the calm and confidence in every step she took. His eyes lingered lower, just for a moment, tracing the line of her shoulders, the curve of her waist, the faint sway of her hips beneath the thin fabric of her training clothes. Something hot and painful curled low in his chest, a sensation he refused to name. His jaw clenched until pain stabbed up into his temples, but it did nothing to smother the heat rising stubbornly inside him.
