KAIA’S POV I woke up to the feel of something tickling my cheek and nose. At first, I thought it was just a strand of my own hair, so I groaned and brushed it away with the back of my hand. I tugged the blanket closer and buried my face into the pillow, silently begging for a few more minutes of sleep. But then it returned again. I scrunched my face and swatted at it lazily, still half-asleep. Whatever it was, it went away for a second—only to return, brushing across my skin again. “Mmm,” I groaned, turning my head to the side, but the tickling followed.
