KAIA’S POV I hesitated, my boots crunching over fallen leaves as I tried to make sense of it all. “Athena… what does it mean?” I asked slowly, my voice quiet in the hush of the woods. “What does it mean that the person you saw had her back turned to you?” Athena didn’t answer right away.
