1 Year Later
"Good morning wife," Lucas said with a beaming smile on his face. He was facing me as I opened my eyes.
"Morning husband," I smiled back. I kissed him softly.
"How about I make you some breakfast," he told me. He shot up from the bed and ran off into the hallway. I laughed softly and went to take a shower. After my shower, I made my way to the kitchen. It smelled divine.
"French toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon," he said. Lucas brought me a plate as I sat down at the kitchen table.
"This looks amazing," I said.
"Thank you," he said. "Nothing but the best for my wife."
