The word ‘pregnancy’ set off alarm bells in my head. My heart racing faster than it has ever done in my entire life.
I had to physically restrain myself from trembling as Alpha Corvin hollered and yelled about it until he finally stalked out.
When I could no longer catch his scent, I slowly opened my eyes, and soon enough there was a doctor by my side. Solemn but straightforward as she pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose.
