11. MacPhearson, TorontoGLEN DUBH: AGELESS This new product, resulting from the recent discovery of a very old whisky, ironically comes to us from the New World. The Dearg Room, the very respectable Scotch bar in Toronto, Canada, just recently announced the notice of sale of ten bottles of Glen Dubh, a single malt whisky from a Scottish Speyside distillery that ceased production in 1919. It was believed that the last drop of this whisky, much prized in those days, had been consumed in 1948. John MacPhearson, proprietor of the Dearg Room, can confirm that this authentic Glen Dubh dates to at least 1913 and, quite probably, to forty years earlier. The ten bottles of this Glen Dubh will be offered on the world market with a huge price tag. To dispel any scepticism about this claim, Mr MacP
