I touched the skin of Mari’s forehead, before moving to her neck and she felt deathly cold. I know her wolf had been restrained through the use of wolfsbane before, but I would like to think that should be easing off by now. Her body should be flushing the poison out, right? Even so, I did not know how fast that happened, nor did I know the dosage her father had been using to drug her. Even with a good number of days without the drug being used, I did not think it would create a strong enough wolf to assist her in her recovery. Or at least, not the way we were needing.
