The next two weeks are spent training, Derek comes watching over the training a few times and even spars with me what came out as a heavy make-out session in between our pack members, making them laugh at us. “We have news,” Elizabeth says while walking up to me and Derek who are standing on the porch watching everyone train. “And that is?” Derek asks, “They are on their way,” she says “Where will they arrive?” he asks. “Southeast,” she says and Derek nods. ‘Prepare, incoming Southeast border. Patrols do not leave your posts, Warriors, back up every patrol post, everyone else spread out towards the southeast border’ he mind-links everyone at once. Arun flies outside and joins us, he smiles at me “You got this” he says and pats me on the back and I nod at him. We march with our pack towards the southeast border, spreading out over the area. 10 warriors are designated to help the elderly and children to the panic room. ‘you got this babe. I believe in you’ Derek mind-links me and I nod. Everyone starts stripping and turning into our wolf. Arun to my left and Derek to my right. And we wait, the witches mingle with us spreading out over the southeast border. The tension is huge, it radiates off of everyone. I send out one big healing wave and I hear big sighs across the field.

“Incoming” I hear Elizabeth say and I focus, luckily for us we are in a big clearing and I see them coming from miles. I throw up an invisible wall and they barge into it ‘for our future’ I mind-link to Derek who nods at me and then everyone starts running to the group who advanced on us, I lower the barrier just before my pack crashes into it and they attack the rogues who attacked us. I see further into the distance I large group levitating in the air, I throw out my numbing shield and surround them. They barrel to the ground and I grin ‘nice’ Acalia says and I chuckle. The battlefield is strewn with rogue blood in no time, I send out another healing wave around to my pack members and the witches and then focus again. ‘let us all be safe’ I chant into my head. I see Derek taking out a group of wolves, Arun is at a distance with two rogues whose necks suddenly snap, and then he helps Derek out by snapping two necks and another two. I roam the battlefield with my eyes for potential threats, namely those dark witches. Elizabeth walks over to me with another witch and I turn and magic some clothes on me. “This is too easy,” Elizabeth says and I nod “It is” I agree ‘this is not the main attack. Finish it quickly’ I mind-link everyone. I start helping with snapping necks, sending out healing waves to the group. Soon it grows quiet and Derek and Arun walk over to me “this is too easy. This is not the main attack” I tell him and he nods ‘you’re right’ he says. ‘Move to the northwest border, patrols there, retreat until we reach’ Derek suddenly mind-links. “Northwest,” I tell the witches, they jump on the back of some wolves and we dart that way. We arrive 10 minutes later and the patrols are dead. I growl loudly and send a blast of wind against our enemies who fly back about 100 meters. I turn back and magic some clothes again since I ripped them when I turned and ran here. “YOU WILL NOT HURT ANYMORE” I yell loudly sending out another blast. The rogues are grabbing the ground with their claws but it’s useless, I am on a roll. Over 100 people emerge from atop the trees chanting blood dripping from them and I growl loudly and slam a numbing shield around them. I join them in the sky hovering and glaring hard. They panic and barrel to the ground, but when they get their barrings they walk out into the open and see me. They send wave after wave after me, but I slam a wall in front of them reflecting their attacks on themselves. It’s all-out war, the pack taking on the rogue wolves while I take on every dark witch, some assistance here and there from the other witches when I miss something. Suddenly a very creepy man hovers above the group again, he is old and you can see the darkness ooze out of him. “YOU” I yell “ME” he cackles and then lunges for me. I slam him with a numbing shield and join him on the ground, I keep the wall and the numbing shield around him intact and lunge at him he blocks easily “Little wolf, doing so much damage to my coven you will pay for that” he says with a dark slimy voice. And hits me hard, knocking me back and causing me to lose focus. Magic whirls around us and I have trouble breathing, I pull a healing wave over myself and stand up. That is when I freeze, the old man is holding my brother by his throat. His sharpened nails cutting into his skin, my brother is knocked out cold. “Now, knock it off with that annoying magic of yours or your brother dies lovely phoenix wolf. The blood of you two will be quite potent for my spells. But I will let you two have some pups first before I come for you” he tells me with that slimy voice. My vision grows red “YOU WILL NOT TOUCH MY PUPS” I yell and a pulse shoots out of me. He cackles loudly “Well, too bad,” he says and rips my brother’s throat out. I scream and fall to my knees, another wave explodes from my body and the magic stops swirling around me, I keep screaming. “No, stop” I hear behind me “WHY? she needs me” I hear Derek. Then I realize, this is it, I give in I let the pain consume me and I keep screaming. I stumble over to my brother while I let out a blast and blow the creepy guy away from him and us. He flies through the sky, his arms and legs wailing around. I press my hand to his neck and let out another wave of the magic that is trying to explode from my body. The wounds stitch back but he doesn’t wake up. I feel for a pulse but it’s not there and I scream again and then all of the magic crashes out of me, wave after wave. Everyone is knocked over and I scream into the sky. I look around and see wave after wave still exploding from my body, it is a deep red color, send out like a pulse. A red glow appears around some of the wolves and then I start to feel weak, the pulse starts to weaken as well and I collapse towards the ground. I feel someone’s hands shake me “It’s okay, she is just tired.” I hear Elizabeth’s voice. And then I hear nothing and I am sucked into the darkness.

I feel hot and then light appears “Hi honey” my mom’s voice sounds behind me. I look around “I didn’t die did I?” I ask her “No, you are in a comatose state for a little while.” She says and smiles and I sigh in relief “You have completed the prophecy. I am so proud of my little girl” she cups my cheeks and smiles at me. I look up at her “I did?” I ask her and she nods “You did. Your brother is fine. He just didn’t want to leave me yet when you tried to pull him back,” she says and chuckles, so do I “Good, I can’t imagine losing the only family I have left,” I say sadly “I know honey. But he is not the only family you have, you have Derek, Julia, uncle Johnny. God, he hated to be called that,” she says and chuckles “Never noticed,” I tell her and she laughs “When he lost all of us he demanded everyone to call him Johnny instead of John,” she says and chuckles. “Oh, I am so going to get him with that,” I say “You should. I love you, honey. You have grown up to be such a beautiful and strong woman, I am so proud. And I know your father would be as well. Now, go and make your own family.” She says and pushes me away, I open my eyes and smile “Thank god” Derek says next to me and I turn around and smile even more “Hi” I tell him “Hi” he says and smiles back, he engulfs me in a hug which I return. “How are you feeling?” he asks me “refreshed?” I say and he chuckles “Is that a question? “he asks me “Yeah, don’t know how else to describe it?” I tell him and smiles widely at me with a shake of his head. “I love you” he whispers “Love you too” I whisper back and he presses his lips against mine. Then I pull back and he opens his eyes “Your eyes” I say and he nods “I’m not the only one” he says and chuckles. “They’re red,” I say “Yeah, in that case, I am the only one together with your brother. Most of the others are gold or yellow,” he says. I smile brightly “I’m not the only one anymore,” I say and he chuckles “That is what you have to say? Alpha” he taunts me and I hit him “Ass,” I say and kiss him again. he chuckles into my mouth, but then eagerly returns the kiss. “Come on, I have to show you something,” he tells me “okay, how long was I out by the way?” I ask “A week,” he says and frowns “Sorry,” I say and smile at him “It’s okay,” he says “At least you didn’t die” he smiles sheepishly at me and I chuckle. We walk out of the room and he takes me to the roof. “What are you doing?” I ask him “Look,” he says and I do, “Holy s**t,” I say when my eyes see the rows and rows of wolves sitting on the ground around campfires, I look to the other side and it’s the same. “How many?” I ask and he shrugs “this is the amount that has arrived after a week, you probably affected the whole world,” he says “Holy s**t,” I say louder and every f*****g head snaps my way, they get up and bow “Alpha,” they say in unison and I shudder at the power that suddenly flows through me, even Derek stumbles from feeling it as my mate. He grabs my hand and we look out over all the people. “Ready for our future?” He asks “Yes, I am,” I say and grin at him. He pulls me close lowers his mouth on mine and kisses me sweetly.
