"Okay" Eddie replied nonchalantly.

The new library.

Afterall only final year students are allowed there for now"

"I mean now" Eddie said in a rather harsh tone.

"You don't get to yell at me, you sadist" Eddie mumbled

"Never mind, let's get going"

(Halfway to the library , Ellie started throwing up)

"I won't be shocked if you are glutton and facing the consequences now" he said while walking away

"Please" Ellie managed to say as she writhed in pain.

Eddie came back and saw it didn't seem like a joke.

He helped her up and gave her his hoodie after asking if she was cold

He collected Ellie's phone and called Yvonne.

"Hello, it's Eddie"

"Can you please come pick Ellie,

I think she's feverish"

"Okay, I'd be there in an hour"

"I have an emergency class with Prof. Lawson"

"Hello... " but Yvonne had ended the call"

"I can't stand here for an hour"

"I think I should walk her to the library"

"Hope you can walk?" Eddie asked like she could answer the question.

(In the library)

Ellie was fast asleep resting her head on the desk.

"That blind-date stuff to think I should give it a try"

"If my brother can get a girlfriend to get mum pleased"

"I can also have that luck"

Ellie coughed a few moments later.

"Oh, you are awake"

"Thank goodness, Yvonne would be here in the next 15mins"

"Okay thanks a lot"

"I can't probably leave you here cause you are not stable yet"

(He's not as bad as I thought)- Ellie thought looking at the hoodie

"Emm, thanks" she said handing the hoodie back to Eddie after pulling it off

"You don't expect me to take it like this huh"

"What if" he said with a stern look

"Oh, sorry"

'Can't you ever be soft" Ellie thought giving him an "I don't care" look '

"Sorry, I'm late" Yvonne rushed into the library

"Okay, thanks a lot Eddie" Yvonne said.

"So now we would have to postpone the meeting" Eddie said

"How about we meet tomorrow evening" he suggested

"Actually, I'm having a very important meeting at home, so I don't think I'll be available "
