CHAPTER 5 Wendy I sat down at the school bench wearing a hat, waiting for my friends. “Dite, I’m nervous. What if my friends were still normal? I mean, they look usual with their hair? I would really looked weird and will surely stood out.” I talked to my elemental stone through my mind. “You’ll be fine.” She answered sparingly. Aliyah, Esther and Fiona came at the same time, all wearing hats. “Please tell me I’m not the only one!” Aliyah screamed as she reached us. We all took off our hats and stared in awe at each other’s colored hair. Aliyah has a speck of white on hair, Fiona has red, Esther has green, and I had blue. “Ohmyghad, we look like kpop girls!” Esther exclaimed. “I am actually liking my hair now.” Fiona smirked. “Do you have these too?” she asked, her eyes glowing red. “Yes!” Aliyah, Esther and I simultaneously said, showing our colored eyes as well. “This is so cool! Have you talked to your elemental stones as well? What’s their name?” I asked them. “Mine’s Hera,” Aliyah said “Mine’s Hestia,” Fiona answered. “Mine’s Hecate,” Esther chirpped in. “And mine’s Dite,” I told them. “Well, have they explained everything to you?” Fiona asked us. “No. But Dite told me that we should find the sacred book hidden within the wild. She said it will tells us everything we need to know about them.” I told them, looking serious. “Does that means we have to go again in the wild?” Aliyah looked a bit scared. “Why, yes! But don’t worry, we can do it on daytime when we don’t have class.” Fiona said cheerfully. The school bell rang and they all went inside their class. ———————— They were still wearing their hats when Mr. Rein walked in. He cleared his throat loudly and all of us straighten our backs. “Excuse me ladies, but you know its against the scool policy to wear hats during class. The four of you, can you please take it off?” He said gently but firm. We have no choice but to take it off and as soon as we did, gasps and murmurs can be heard from our classmates. “What happened? Are you all perfoming on a freak show later?” Matt teased. “Shut it, freak!” Fiona eyed her dangerously. Matt immediately zipped his mouth shut, suddenly afraid of Fiona’s deadly stare. “I don’t what you girls are up to you but for the record, it looks good on you.” Mr Rein commented. “And don’t worry, its not against the school rules so you don’t have to hide it inside your hats.” I heaved a sigh of relief hearing that and so did my friends. “So for the lesson today....” Mr Rein started his oh-so-boring lecture about history.
