"How the hell could you be so careless??" I scolded my right hand man, Lucas, as I paced my sitting room, seething in anger. Lucas is in his late forties, he has an adventurous personality, with his Viking-gold hair. He's been working for me for years and he has never made this kind of mistake before.
He'd been so careless in carrying out the last task I sent him to handle. He's supposed to be hiding in the shadows, helping Adrian without his knowledge. Now he has exposed us and Adrian now knows that someone is lending him a helping hand.
I know Adrian too well. He's too smart to let this go. He's definitely gonna be searching for clues on how to find us. Lucas just put us in his raider and it's just a matter of time before he finally catches up to us.
