Chapter 3
Reunion:
The Nova Tower
Alistor ventures with a group on a journey in the middle of a vast snowfield as he summarizes what happened.
It's been nearly two weeks since my first encounter with Auroa. In that time, I somehow managed to run into Bow and Blade, who got stranded behind in Snowpike during the middle of Axe's latest concert. So two members of the Steel Specters now joined in my quest.
"Hopefully, you'll be able to reason your differences with Auroa. Maybe Maigashi might be able to help if we can find him." Bow said.
"We were scheduled to play at Snowpike, but an evacuation order had to happen. But, man, it sucks being left behind." Blade added.
They continue walking down the cold path.
Word has spread that Katty was hiding in a cave around the Glacier region. Not far from the Snowpike resort. So we agreed to rendezvous with him before setting foot in Havok's tower.
They finally make their way to an inner chamber inside the Ice Cavern. They find an angel statue sitting aloft in front of them. Katty's scarf is seen hanging over it.
"Is that Katty's scarf? Someone help me with a boost." Alistor said.
Bow and Blade go to help give him a lift. A shadow is seen lurking high up on the other corner. The two hold onto his legs while he keeps his balance. Alistor pulls his blade out to reach for the scarf.
"Katty has to be close by."
"Whoah!"
Immediately an umbrella spears its way toward them. They lose balance leaving Alistor to tumble over them.
"Ow, get off me," Bow said.
They took a while to get back on their feet.
"Great, now what? What's with the umbrella?" Alistor wondered.
"Ha Ha! Not so fast, young ones. You didn't think Havok left you off easy, did you?"
The umbrella returns back to his hand.
"Who are you supposed to be? Alistor asked.
"You may call me Umbrella Master." He begins to pose with dual-wielding umbrellas. "More than meet the eye. In the end, you'll be left fascinated."
The three stare blankly at him. An awkward moment for them.
"Is this guy serious?" Bow wondered.
"I don't know?" Blade said.
Umbrella Master stumbled over.
"Enough talk! Prepare to Die!!!!"
He leaps in to make the first move. Umbrellas poking at them at a super-fast pace. The team didn't have much time to counter back. Bow and Blade immediately tumble over, struggling to keep up with him.
"Not even a minute, and we're already struggling? Who is this guy?" Alistor jumped.
Alistor dodges his best against the Umbrella Master's attack but gets pummeled under his barrage of assaults. The party pulls back to gain some ground. On the defensive, the Umbrella Master charged at them.
"What! Thinking of escape? You can't run from me! My umbrella will find you."
He begins taking flight, shurikens firing out from under his cape garment. Alistor and the team continue taking damage. An umbrella twirls towards them at high speed shattering through the ground. A smoke screen upon impact left them blind.
"Damn it! I can't see him." Alistor said.
He gets hit from behind.
"Yoo-hoo! Over here."
Alistor swings but misses. Bow and Blade blindly attacked each other.
"Now it's time for a spin."
The smokescreen clears, and Alistor and his team get caught within his vortex. Getting dazed and then flung across the room.
"I think I'm gonna be sick…." Bow said.
"HAHA! Is that all you fools got? Now for the encore!"
He launches another wave of umbrellas once more. Scourging through the grounds. They hold their ground, trying to block the impact. The three are knocked down once more by the force of his Umbrellas. They quickly recovered back up. Alistor wipes the blood off his lip.
"He's too fast. If only we have a chance to strike back." Blade said.
"This guy is something. There must be a way around him. But, somehow, just one opening is all we need." Alistor stated.
Alistor gets flung back once more from trying to counter back against his umbrella combo.
"Give it up! You can't win!"
He moves in, bulling through Bow and Blade. Umbrellas scrapping through the hard flooring.
"Behind you!" Bow shouted.
Umbrella Master wasted no time attacking. Alistor gets hoisted up in the air, bounded by the neck between his umbrellas.
"Ha Ha! It all ends here. It was nice knowing you."
Suddenly a flashing light intercepts between the two. Umbrella Master gets knocked back.
"What? Who's there?"
Katty appeared before their very eyes.
"Sorry for the wait. I got held up by traffic."
"Hey! You want a piece of me too?" Umbrella Master snapped.
He interrupts them in the middle. Pointing at Katty, eyes fixed on his next target. He immediately closes his umbrella to make a clicking sound. Katty readied his kunai.
"Let's take care of this clown first. Together!" Katty said.
"Just like the old times." Alistor nodded.
"Enough talk! Now you both will die."
Pillars of water rose by the clack of his umbrellas. Then, swirling, he gets ready to unleash something big. Alistor and Katty charge straight at him. A massive gushing pump of water rushes directly at them. The two make a jump in the air.
"What I missed? But you'll never get past my defenses. So super Umbrella Combo go."
Katty and Alistor unleashed their attacks on Umbrella Master.
"Nova Crasher!"
"Star Breaker!"
They both crush through his defense from both sides, shattering his umbrellas. Gold and blue energy impact him, causing mass amounts of damage. The master struggles to stand his ground.
"What? You're still standing after all that?" Alistor dropped.
Katty kept his guard up.
"You're better than I thought. I underestimated you. Havok can deal with you for all I care. His problem is not mine. Hear this! I'll be back next time, but even better than ever."
Within an instant, the Umbrella Master vanishes.
Back at the dark fortress…Havok contacts Auroa from the other screen.
"So what's the news, Havok?"
"Alistor and his team were able to best our assassin. Umbrella Master has retreated at this time. They're heading straight to the tower at this moment."
"This should be interesting…."
The scene transitions to Havok
"Leave them to me. My tower will test Alistor's new team to their limits."
Down below with the party…
"My goodness! What is that?" Bow asked.
Alistor and his team arrive at the gates of the tower. From their sight above sits a massive cannon perched from the building.
"I never have seen anything like this. It's huge…." Katty said.
"This doesn't look good. We have no time to waste. Come on!"
More than ready to enter, they take their first steps into the Nova Tower. A light shines beyond the door.

Authors Note: This was the original script I wrote back in 2013 from book 4. As you can see, there are notable differences. A lot have been changed overtime from my writing:) At the time I did not wrote book 1 so a lot of the ideas and concepts I had at the time were very rough and not polished. This was the easiest starting point for me to write back then. The changes have been made for the best to improve the flow and development for the characters. Also, the changes where made to tie in with the events of Book 1.
Chapter 3
The Shooting Star
Somewhere by the shores across from Star Bark…Auroa and a red haired girl stand
off from the distance. A muscular girl armed ready with fire channeling from her body as Auroa
stood from the side with his Scepter in a relaxed stance.
-Auroa-
So… We meet like this.
-Sarah-
“You burn me up deep inside.”
A stream of fire unleash from her fist through her arms. The wind ruler deflects it away
leaving it to burn on the field. A ring of fire surrounds them. Pretending to not feel any form of
pain she continues on.
-Auroa-
“Our past is forever and the future is together. We were destined to cross paths once more.”
A high velocity of winds channels out from his body pushing her flames back.
-Sarah-
I don’t want to remember anymore. This little girl grew up long ago. You better move on
cause I don’t care anymore.
-Auroa-
“You’re burning strong. So sad so sad. Why didn’t you go? To do a choosing? Mess with
my affections will ya.”
She runs back in with another fiery punch. The sparks in her only fueled the flames to feed
off from the wind. She grabs a hold of him by his cloak.
-Sarah-
“I’ll burn you right deep into the ground. My fire’s goanna eat you right up and spit you right
out.”
Her punch pierces straight through Auroa directly. His center body opens up revealing
nothing inside. His body was made of thin air. The cloak from his body begins wrapping around
her. She breaks free and jumps back in a sense of fear. Something was not right from the back
her mind.
“What are you?” She asked.
-Auroa-
“Now you know….My body is nothing more but a void on the inside. I know you from the
inside. So sad hoo hoo. Outside you’re cold trying to be a boy, but deep inside your just a
scared little girl crying over my shoulder.”
All she could do, grinding her teeth angrily. Auroa continues provoking her.
-Sarah-
“You’re irritating me. Ahhh!”
She fires out a huge pillar of flames from her body. Auroa casts a heavy cyclone to wall off
from her attack. Both their attacks evenly breaks pushing the two both back. He vanished to thin
air. The sound of his voice whispers in through ears.
-Auroa-
“You once told me you could love me. No matter what you say or do. Even if you two time
on me. You’ll never stop me from loving you.”
She was furious. Right from behind she quickly reacted with another heavy punch fueled
with flames. Auroa grabs her arm dispelling her fire cooling everything down.
-Sarah-
“What? You caught it…..”
She felt his cold breathe across the back of her neck.
-Auroa-
“Take it easy. It’s pretty amusing seeing you when you’re angry but you don’t want
your flames to go out. We’ll continue playing again later. For now I take my leave.”
He sparked the fuel back to her arms before letting go. The moment she turned around he was
already gone. Getting down on her knees she pounds the ground in rage. Stomping and kicking
as she got back up.
-Sarah-
“Ahhh! I’ll find you. I’ll find you. Even if it’s the last thing I do.”
The fire on the field dies out with the passing breeze. She leaves to find her way back to
check out on Star Bark. She witnesses the whole village in its complete aftermath of destruction.
Houses on fire, explosions here and there. Shattered glass and broken objects from barrels to
tables. A mass pile of dead warriors scattered around. The richest stronghold completely emptied
out. Leaving nothing left but a pile of scraps and wood. She couldn’t bear to look.
-Sarah-
My god what happened to this village? Those monsters……
She ran off somewhere to check for survivors. To her surprise a bunch of poor commoners
from children’s to elderly with bags of gold and coins somehow.
“Just what is going on?” She wondered trying to piece everything together. Neither showing
any signs of fear or pain, they all went to seek shelter at the town’s inn which was spared from
any damage.
A while later…. Alistor finally arrives to Star bark to find the vast of it destroyed. The doing
of the Crystal Vortex army. Hard for him to believe but he pressed on forward. A crowd
mourning and fearing. He goes to help assist them in any way he could burying the dead
-Alistor-
So can any of you fill me in? What happened here?
-Guard 1-
The Crystal Vortex assaulted us again. The third time but this week. This was the worst of it.
Our walls completely down. They unexpectedly arrived and then monster attacks started
occurring. At their height of Baronia and Aggerona. We have no idea on their motive. Yet they
raid our most protected stronghold for the wealthiest public only to take nothing.
-Guard 2-
The only thing they seem to do is fool around. Even in the fierce tense moments of battle.
They act like this were some kind of game to them. It's insane! Our weapons couldn't put a
scratch much on them. I never felt this much fear in my life. Like they're at a whole different
level. General Havok was already bad enough to deal with.
-Alistor-
“Who is he? Tell me!”
The two guards where shooken up.
-Guard 1-
Well not exactly long. It all happened so fast. Havok is the main leading general of the Vortex
army. The Wind master didn’t stay around that long but left a gleaming shadow in skies. Havok
along with 2 other monsters completely annihilated our whole defending army.
-Guard 2-
“Yeah completely. It was scary. We were lucky under Havok’s mercy to be spared.”
The guard enters a quick flashback scene from their battle. Flames and gas burning violently
through the skies.
-Guard 1-
“Guns! Rockets! Cannons! Our spears have not much of an effect. Nothing is working. What
are they?”
Three other guards are electrocuted from a massive wrapping figure. Explosive stars crashing
from an unknown monster in the air. Havok cuts down the approaching lines rushing them.
The two guards start to back down as they watch the rest their comrades get slaughtered.
-Guard 2-
I don’t know anymore…This isn’t worth it. Ahhh!
A small explosion and the two were down but still alive. Havok stands above shadowing
over them. His blade pointed at them, The two were ready to die as the other one closed his
eyes. Havok just stood there waiting for the slight moment. Somehow the General didn’t have
a feeling of satisfaction.
-Guard 1-
Well….What you’re waiting for? Get it over with it.
-Guard 2-
“Just finish us now.”
They stared at Havok in the eyes. In the matter of seconds the general sheathed his blade.
-Havok-
“No…….” The General turned away.
-Guard 1-
What?
-Havok-
“There is no honor in it at all. I do not strike down an unarmed opponent. Go home to and
return to your families if you value your lives. This battle is bigger than you can imagine. Now
go before I change my mind. This battle is not worth it.”
Havok takes his leaves with his cloak gusting through the hot air. They see the face of a wind
master reflection materializes in the clouds. The flashback scene ends from there.
The two were done explaining everything they knew about the attack. Alistor left on his way
for a quick stop at the local inn. Night was almost falling by the time everything was finished in
town. The Shooting Star summit which lies beyond the town through the flower fields. A
graveyard was located nearby as well.
Later that night…
-Alistor-
“Ughh. No! Don’t…..Not yet… Moon!”
3:00 in the morning, Alistor is troubled sleeping as he hears a voice bothering him inside
his sleep.
-Rena-
“I’m waiting for you.....”
“I’m waiting for you.....”
He is haunted from his last battle with Moon at the Black Tower. The depths of waters
creeping in from a black to blue. At the moment of seeing her death. Her face turns to him at the
moment of her wound. He steps back. The whole scenes washed out into the darkness.
Through the darkness silver light emerge out before he had a chance to look back. A ball
of a spirit floating freely around.
-Alistor-
Rena? Is that you?
-Rena-
“I've been waiting for you for such a long time.....”
Her spirit took form. He now sees her face once more. He approaches but she slowly fades
back into the distance.
-Alistor-
Rena! No wait! Come back! Wait!
-Rena-
“Come to the grave and we can talk there. There’s not much time. Please hurry my love. I’ll
be waiting. Waiting for you…”
The light in her spirit fades out. Alistor then wakes up from the middle of his sleep. Breathing
quickly and wondering if it was just a dream. From the door he sees a spirit leaving the room.
Knowing this wasn’t a dream the spirit tempts him to follow it.
-Alistor-
“Let’s get this over with. Down to the truth…”
He rushed out the inn. Through the flower fields he made his way to the graveyard as fast
as possible. There at the very spot lies Rena’s grave. The last spot he placed her to rest. As
Alistor approaches the grave Rena appeared before his very eyes. Many other spirits floats across
in the background of other graves.
-Alistor-
“Rena is it really you?”
Love was at first sight again. Happy to see one another they both smiled.
-Rena-
“I've been waiting for such a long time.....”
The two find the time to quickly catch up on things.
“So you do still care.” She was relieved.
-Alistor-
“Rena why do you call to me? Why so all of the sudden?”
She quickly got to the subject.
-Rena-
There’s not much time to explain, but here’s the gist of it. You’re aware of the Crystal Vortex
threat already. As of now they’re draining the life force out from the Star Summit. There is a
device they’re using up at the top. It’s causing many of the local spirits unrest.
-Alistor-
I see… So that explains why. What could they possibly want with all that energy? What could
they want with the Star Summit anyway? I must stop them somehow and get the next crystal key.
The key was said to lie there.
-Rena-
“I could ask the same question myself. Anyway here’s something that might help
you on the way.”
She takes something out for him.
“Take this Amulet of mine my love. It will allow you to pass through the barrier
placed at the entrance of the summit.”
Placing it from her hands to his. A touching moment for the both of them.
-Rena-
I'll wait for you. Even if its forever... Farewell....
-Alistor-
“I won't forget you Rena, and once I stop them I promise I'll bring you back. We'll be reunited
someday Rena my dear. Thank you!”
Her spirit disappears and everything comes to a sudden stand still. The breeze and slight
sound of nature passing. It was time for him to make his way to the Summit to confront the
evil that lies at the top. Leaving and not turning back. He catches the sight of a shooting
star to pass before the morning light breaks in.
Back from the dark fortress…
-Kabuki-
Oh look! A shooting star. Have you made a wish yet?
-Auroa-
Already did. I just hope she’ll be alright. Mhm…
The scene transitions to Sarah lying somewhere in the midst of the flower fields kicking
back. Looking up at the stars staring blankly.
-Sarah-
“Forever we shall be rivals…”
The scene ends from there…
A barrier lies in front of Alistor’s path to the summit. Shining the Amulet provided by Rena,
the darkness completely dissipates. From there he heads to the purple Star Summit.
Ready for whatever lies ahead.

Chapter 4
The Price of Friendship
From the sky fortress of the Crystal Vortex.
-Havok-
As you know he’s heading towards the Star summit to put a dent in our latest plans.
Golem 12 has failed to stop him. Two more of our monsters will face him today. Lucky for him
to find something to dispel that barrier we set.
-Auroa-
Oh well. What’s the fun without a little challenge I suppose.
-Havok-
As I mentioned before. You should let me take him on. His newfound powers from that
blade is nothing compared to mine.
-Auroa-
Not yet Havok. There’s still much more we have to do. We have no time to waste
fighting him. We must set our goals for our units and establish the next base to expand. For now
let’s all gather at the dining room and plan for our future attacks to invade. We’re supposed to
make the next assault by the kingdom’s main gates soon. Patience is the key.
-Havok-
Fine, let’s hope those two will be enough to stop him from there. Our purpose on that Star
summit is to drain all of its excess life energy to power our sky fortress. Even if it’s at full
power. Backup is good at least.
-Auroa-
Yes! Having unnecessary amount of energy is good just in case. Because it’s no different
humans are. Just as Mr. Moon said man is no different. They’re all very selfish and cruel in their
own way anyway. They only care for themselves and find pleasure in the suffering of others.
-Havok-
“Correct! This world has no place for friendship to the likes of them… Was this world once a
place of friendship? You know from experience. Anyway let us gather with Kabuki and the rest
at the tables for planning.”
Havok makes his leave but notices something wrong. Auroa just stands by the window
looking deeply fixated at the Moon.
“Is something wrong?” He asked.
He starts to remember something on friendship that was once relevant. He closed his eyes
and a flashback in time comes to him. He sees himself once again. A lonely boy escaping out
from the forest after a great ordeal.
-Auroa-
“It happened just like it was not long ago. There was a time friendship was something to
believed in. Allow me to shed some light.”
The wind ruler begins telling his tale to the general.
“Through the creaking darkness I emerged from the forest alive alone. Not looking back at
the shimmering light I went my way. Moonlight faded as dawn broke in. The air felt cold as the
steel barren floors that rusted in my homes basement. The winds made the sound of a chime you
would hear from a bell. Unsure of what’s left for my existence I lived on fighting for my own
sake for survival. Thus I trained myself in the art of the Wind style. The birth element
that was passed down through my family from generations. Forced to steal and pillage from
neighboring villages I could come across by. Whether it was food, money, or some gold I
took what was only necessary for me to get by.”
“Like a ghost I was moving from one place to the next. I never stayed in one town or village
too long. From the shadows behind the trees to the whispers in your deepest chained up vaults. I
lived on as a rogue for many years to come. Till one day my actions soon caught up with me,
that’s when I first met him.”
“My journey had led me to this castle, filled with plenty of riches and fine arts. My target was
none other than the storage room where they kept the supplies. Suddenly I heard a voice yelling
from the halls. The sounds of guards yelling “After him!” holler away. The doors broke in as I
took cover behind the crates. It was a boy just as old as I was. With shoulder length blondish
hair, he went in catch a quick breath as I watched within the shadows. My bag was accidently
overfilled with supplies that time since I got a bit carried away. Taking more than what was
needed. Some of the things in my bag slipped out dropping on the floor. He immediately
detected my presences pulling out his bow”
-Chris-
“Who’s there?” He yelled out, paranoid as ever.
He wasn’t hesitant to let his guard down.
-Auroa-
“Just a shadow passing by. May I ask who might you be?”
-Chris-
“None of your business.”
-Auroa-
“Come on now. Sheath your bow. No need for you to be alarmed. I’m not the enemy you
seek.” I politely asked.
-Chris-
“Not a chance! How do I know you’re not one of them?”
-Auroa-
“I really detest combat. Can’t we talk this over?”
He shot his arrow the moment I made a slight movement behind the piles of crates piercing
my bag. I began to channel the wind around me slightly while trying to remain as calm as
possible. My wind would have made plenty of noise for others to discover my presence.
-Auroa-
“Oh come on now? That was a new nifty bag I just got.”
He got another arrow ready at me. I was getting annoyed at this pointless matter. The sound
of air breeze gently within the room. I peacefully waved a white cloth out but he shot at it.
“Fine! If you insist then.” I muttered.
The crates I was behind shattered to pieces as I emerged aggressively from a loud blast of
air. He covered his face from the pieces of wood hitting at him as I quickly disarmed his bow.
We were suddenly in a force of struggle. He kicked me back to get to his weapon, but I blew his
weapon back further with the wind I was controlling.
-Chris-
“Damn you!” He went back to struggle with me once again.
The sound of guard steps suddenly heard from the distance closed in to my greatest priority
of concern.
-Auroa-
“Enough!” I yelled out.
We both took cover as they all barged in.
“We know you’re in here.” One yelled out.
We were both quietly cursing at each other. Whispering whose fault it was to blame but soon
we settled our differences in a matter of seconds. He was just a rogue like I was, but with a bag
filled with gold.
-Chris-
“The names Chris, what’s yours?”
-Auroa-
“You can call me Auroa. Nice we can finally talk like normal people.”
-Chris-
“Now for that plan. How are we goanna get out of this jam?” He asked.
-Auroa-
“Just follow my lead.”
They were all in the room searching crate to crate as we commenced action. I
recovered back his bow with a quiet pull from my wind. We moved out, they went after us
obviously. Soldiers from armored knights to palace guards chased us through the halls
floor to floor. We worked together taking them out slowly when they least expect it. Chris took
down the least armored ones from the distance as I handled the front line charging at us. The
armored ones charged right in and I triggered my wind art. A gale force of air slipped through
their hard armor flipping them all over one another.
-Chris-
“Auroa! Behind you.” He shouts.
I didn’t hesitate to look back before his arrow slipped past one inch away from my ear. He
shot the last guard down to move further. I started giggling for the moment.
-Auroa-
“Not bad I have to say.”
-Chris-
“No problem. Let’s be on our way. You got that fog ready?”
-Auroa-
“Yes, let us leave.” I tossed a glass sphere to the ground shattering. It created a dense screen
of smoke through the halls.
“Over there I think that’s our way out.”
His eyes were sharp as ever. From that point on we traveled together, being the best of
friends. He was the eyes and I was the ears. We shared some of the best of times together for the
years to come. Fun and games it was for us, but eventually we both went on to earn an honest
living. Recognized for our skills we were taken in by mercenaries under Sairori’s roof by the
time an evil force emerged to declare war upon our kingdom.
It all started with the Aggerona Empire emerging from the darkest depths of the open sea to
the mass mechanical army of the Baronia Empire. It was actually fun and adventure for us all.
Thus I got to know and befriend the comrades around me. Fighting side by side with them from
one monster attack to the next. One thing though I will remember still is my darkest past.
Sharing countless adventures together from one to the next, but the good times never last
forever. By the time both Empires fell my friends went their separate ways. We were heroes yet I
was alone once again. With my reward money I went to a school to pursue my passion in art for
the years to come and occupy myself. Yet art was just a pastime, I was inspired by the monsters
we fought through battle. Underappreciated I eventually dropped out struggling yet again
keeping the house tended left behind by my comrades and our late master that passed away.
Auroa’s flashback ends from there…
-Havok-
That’s quite a life. I’m sorry to hear such a friendship as that. They come and go as the
time passes. Friendship that use to mean something in this very world.
-Auroa-
“Not to worry at all Havok. That time is now long gone in me. Let us continue talking
about our plans for the construction of a base around the Hydra region. Through the hallways
shall we.”
Alistor continues to advance up the star summit. He encounters a wandering drifter with
with a familiar symbol on it. The very symbol of the last evil force he had fought.
-Alistor-
“This can't be? A member of the Aggerona Empire? But how? A survivor? Whatever
you’re here for must be no good.”
He pulls his blade out pointing at the wandering one who bares the symbol of the evil
Aggerona Empire.
-Swifter-
Whoah there! Relax; I’m just a pure wanderer who comes in peace. Although I hate to admit.
It’s true I am a part of the Aggerona empire. But I’m different…
-Alistor-
How do I know I can trust you?
-Swifter-
“I don’t know.” The wanderer merely shrugged his shoulders.
“I'm just merely a simple branch monster from that empire. I left them free of my own will to
seek adventures and explore this world.”
-Alistor-
Well you’re a strange one. Somehow different from the rest. Usually other members from
Aggerona would have attacked by now.
-Swifter-
The names Swifter of Aggerona, a wandering carefree drifter ha ha ha. So may I ask what’s
your name?
Alistor introduced himself and they talked a bit.
-Swifter-
So you where the one who vanquished the Aggerona empire four years ago. I see …So what
have you been up to?
Alistor tells him everything about his current adventure and gives quick recap of after
defeating Moon.
-Swifter-
“Well I'll be then. Allow me to accompany you since I am a person seeking adventure too.
Don't mind me my friend.”
-Alistor-
“Hey wait! I didn’t agree on this. Oh well, fine you can join.”
Swifter joins him on his quest. The lone survivor of the vile Aggerona Empire. Just as he
agreed to join a new foe jumps in to crash their party. Long arms and shocking bolts fired from
this massive creature. Floating right above as it overshadows them in a mocking fashion. Oil
dripping down from above.
-Swifter-
Looks like we got company. What sort of monster are you?
They kept their grounds as the monster spoke.
-Wrap Shocker-
The names Wrap Shocker and I'll make your life a shocking end. You may have bested
Golem 12, but he was small time. Prepare yourself! Feel the power of my voltage surging
through your bodies once I’m through with you. Your path ends here with me.
-Alistor-
I don't think so. I can't allow the likes of you to drain the life force this summit. For
Rena’s sake I’ll take you down.
-Wrap Shocker-
“Give me your best shot.”
Battle begins and the monster gets the first strike. Sparks of bolts scatters out from its
head. The monster begins planting itself on the mountain feeding upon its power. The two
of them get sent back for cover. Swifter sent out a dark wave at one of its arms to stun it. Alistor
moves in to strike at the monster.
-Alistor-
You’ll be joining your friend soon enough.
-Wrap Shocker-
“Ha ha ha. Think I’m goanna let you easily land a hit on me? I don’t think so.”
The monster deflected his attack back in the middle of its charge for power. Lightning rained
down on his shoulders sending him far back. Swifter grabs hold of its head but gets knocked off
by a simple shake.
-Swifter-
“We need to approach this one together. This monster is too focused to let its guard down
on one opponent.”
The two went back in with a plan.
-Wrap Shocker-
“Back for more?”
Swifter moves straight in with his rusted Aggerona blade. The monster sends its arms at him
but he avoids it. Sparks fires from out its head once more as he takes the blunt of its damage. A
dark light unleashes from his blade pounding at the monsters face.
-Swifter-
Surging Darkness!
-Wrap Shocker-
Woo! Not so fast!
The monster fought to regain its balance. It grabs and tosses him aside as Alistor moves in
with a new attack ready at hand. The monster latches its arms onto him as he struggles to break
free from it. Lightning begins flowing through its arms giving him the shock of a lifetime.
Bolts of sparks continue to burst out from its head.
-Wrap Shocker-
“Bwah ha ha. You feel that? It’s your shocking end!”
He continues to struggle, keeping his conscious while the lightning flows through shaking
his body up. Swifter gets back up on his feet. All he could think of was Rena at the moment.
Suddenly her word comes to him.
-Rena-
I’ll be waiting for you…
-Alistor-
No….I won’t let you down. Gaah!!!
The monster loses its grasp on him.
-Wrap Shocker-
“What? You broke free?”
He counters back with a heavy attack he learned from Sairori years back. Channeling from
his blade with fire and lightning he makes a jump to the monsters face.
-Alistor-
This is my master’s signature technique. In honor of his passing. Lightning Phoenix!
-Wrap Shocker-
“Noooo!”
Its entire face begins cracking. The monster tries to block with both its arms in time but the
attack breaks through it. The monster forces its arms to cover for the attack but it shatters both of
them completely. Lightning spews out from its open limbs. Vulnerable and completely open
Swifter goes in for the final strike.
-Swifter-
Double finish!
Two streaking purple lights pierce through the monster on both sides. A ray of double
explosions smoking out from the monster.
-Wrap Shocker-
“Curse you..... I'll get you next time. NEXT TIME!!! I’M FALLING!!!!”
The monster falls to its doom self-destructing on impact below. Light from the Star summit
seems to restore from the aftermath.
-Swifter-
Hey? Some of the Summit’s life is returning back to this place.
-Alistor-
Yeah I can tell too. Half of it though….We still got to take care of the rest lying at
the top. The device must be shut down.
The two continue to make their way towards the top of the summit. From there they could see
a wave of enemy soldiers spawning down from the path that lies ahead. Another monster arrives
with a small line of Vortex soldiers protecting the device that lies at the top.
-Alistor-
There it is. The complex contraption that’s draining the life out of this summit. Looks like we
got company as expected.
-Starstormer-
Not so fast hee hee hee hee hee. You’re not taking one step closer hee hee hee. Your
not shutting down this operation that easy hee hee.
-Alistor-
Another Vortex monster. This one’s kind of weird.
-Swifter-
This one’s a bit different so be on guard Alistor.
Vortex Guards start to completely surround them.
-Starstormer-
The names Starstormer and I'll be delighted to end you all here. Hee heee wee heee!
You may have defeated Golem 12 and Wrap Shocker easily, but I'll make sure
to get the job done. Besides Wrap Shocker must have softened you both out by now.
-Alistor-
Oh we’re just getting started.
-Starstormer-
“Fine by me if you still got fight left. First I shall defeat you, then I'll present Havok with a
constellation prize when I’m through with you. Here I go wee hee hee hee hee.”
Star Stormer makes a dash at them by surprise and takes the fight to the skies. The guards
begin their assault at them. Swifter and Alistor holds their ground watching each other back to
back. Spears jabbing at them and swords clashing with another. Starstormer floats around from
above.
-Alistor-
These guys are brutal. I don’t know what’s worse. Fighting them or the Baronia pawns. I miss
taking on those Aggerona soldiers.
-Swifter-
“You can say that again.”
The two held their own putting much more effort and strength against Auroa’s soldiers.
Pushing a few of them back Starstormer intervened and knocks Swifter down by surprise.
-Starstormer-
“Ha! Ha! This is my battle as well. Have a taste of this!”
Streams of shooting starts fire out in midair from the monsters chest. Alistor goes in to block
Swifter from damage. He is knocked down rolling back hard. The monsters make a dash down
once more while the other guards cleared away.
“Now your mine!”
A flashing light and the sounds of a clash.
“What?” The monster couldn’t understand.
Alistor’s Crown sword clashed with his Star shaped staff. Swifter moves in to finish and keep
the Vortex soldiers busy.
-Swifter-
Hammering Shadow assault!
A row of Vortex soldiers fell on their backs. The other row retaliate back with a quick laser
from the tip of their spears. Alistor takes damage but Swifter moves in to cut down the rest.
Down and out they retreated back to the fortress.
-Alistor-
Looks like you’re the only one left.
-Starstormer-
“Grrh! I won’t fall back. Time to crash your little chance.”
The monster dashes back in. Swooping from the air the two of them are knocked down
by its impact. The monster charges for a great attack. Alistor tries countering it back with his
Silver Shrapnel technique.
-Starstormer-
Star Crasher!
-Alistor-
Here goes!
Star Stormer attack stops Alistor from pulling his attack off. He is sent back caught by Swifter
in his arms. A great burst of wind from the impact of the Star Crasher attack.
-Starstormer-
“Ha ha ha ha!”
Swifter tries to go in with his Hammering Shadow attack, but failed to land a direct hit. The
monster effortless avoids his attack.
“Think I’m goanna let an attack of that level hit me? I don’t think so. Have more of my
stars ha ha ha.”
-Swifter-
Damn! We gotta take cover.
-Alistor-
We got to approach this differently. This is not working. But how? This monster
got the advantage in the air.
The monster floats casually around mocking them. Then something about Rena comes
to his mind from a past battle.
-Alistor-
I got it!
-Swifter-
“You do?”
Something was up his sleeve as he got ready with his Crown Sword. The monster didn’t knew
or care what he was planning. It sends another heavy Star Crasher attack towards him. He gets
into position at the attack.
-Swifter-
What are you doing?
-Alistor-
“Something Rena taught me.”
With the power from his blade he swung back at the attack bouncing it directly back at the
monster.
-Star Stormer-
“What?” The monster broke a sweat and reacted.
“No!”
The monster reacted deflecting his attack back with his Star Staff. Alistor deflected it back to
him vice versa. The monster sent it back again barely keeping its timing.
-Alistor-
“And now for the pressure.”
He focuses more power and force onto the next swing at the Star Crasher. A heavy force of
energy impacts the Crown Sword. The attack gets defected back at the monster at a faster pace.
The monster couldn’t keep up with the next incoming attack.
-Star Stormer-
“Ahh! My attack…”
The monster gets stunned completely by its own attack. Struggling to stay afloat within the
air left wide opened. They didn’t waste time to finish it off. Swifter sliced through the monster
from behind.
-Alistor-
“You’re through now.”
He sends the monster back in the air with his Silver Shrapnel.
-Starstormer-
“No! Body failing. Losing stability. Into pieces…. Ahhhhhhhh!”
The monster shattered like glass as the both of them wasted no time making their way to the
top. Swifter pointed down at the big noticeable hole from the top the summit.
-Swifter-
“There’s the contraption doing all the damage.”
-Alistor-
“I see the second key too. It’s powering that thing up. Let’s shut it down.”
They jumped in and destroyed the contraption claiming the second key. With the summit saved,
life force returned as other spirits could rest undisturbed. Making their way back down to the
flower fields he was thinking about Rena once more. He didn’t mind having her spirit around
him for support.
-Swifter-
Ok so where to next?
-Alistor-
I don’t know. I was thinking about heading to the Mathias Kingdom for a quick stop since it’s
been years. I wonder how much have changed there.
-Swifter-
Ok let’s go. I hope everything will be all right. Hopefully the people their won't treat me bad
as a hostile.
-Alistor-
“Nah! You should be fine. Just keep your cloak up and ready.”
With the life force of the summit saved he wished upon the stars to be reunited with Rena
one day. They continue on their adventures and make a next stop to the Mathias kingdom.
Back from the dark sky fortress of the Crystal Vortex…
-Havok-
It seems Wrap Shocker and Starstormer failed to stop him on his tracks. He's now heading
towards the Mathias kingdom.
-Auroa-
What? The both of them couldn't beat him? He is starting to be a nuisance to me.
Can't any of them do things right? Oh well.....
-Havok-
So what should we do next?
-Auroa-
Well we might as well confront Alistor for a little fun. First time encounter woo hoo. Our
hero gets to encounter us baddies for the first time. I already know what he is after anyway.
He takes the Valaura Crystal from his cloak.
-Havok-
Yes let us do. We’ll give them a nice impression. Shall we get others to join in this as well?
-Auroa-
Yes do! Round up our available monsters so we can rain down for a little fun. Get some good
round of supplies while where at it. I wonder if Alistor will even recognize me.
-Havok-
“Then it's decided then, I’ll round a team we can to deploy down for the assault.
I’ll call Kabuki to join for our debut. Hey where is he anyway?”
-Auroa-
He's busy overseeing the construction of our new machine base in the Hydra desert. Yes go
call him. He cannot miss this moment of our glory.
-Havok-
“Oh yes that base. I’m looking forward to this.”
Havok leaves his way to get Kabuki. They round there forces to prepare their first
encounter.
Returning from the Flower fields Alistor and Swifter makes it back to Star Bark village going
under reconstruction once more. Only time takes for all damage to heal. From the top, there
the Star Summit shines again. Alistor place a new set of flowers rest by Rena’s grave. From a
passing breeze he feels something. A hand touching the back of his hair. Alistor looks back.
-Swifter-
“Huh? Something wrong?”
-Alistor-
“No….Nothings wrong.”
They continue their way to the kingdom. From the passing breeze Rena’s spirit watches from
the distance.
