CHAPTER 21
“Your wife is awake Mr Bloom, if you’d like to see her?” The nurse bent down to pluck the baby from Sebastian’s arms.
He kissed his son and sprinted out of the unit. He met Dr Khan outside Olivia’s room.
“She’s going to make a full recovery,” he smiled. “She’s very weak and needs rest, but you can go in for a few minutes. She’s been asking for you.”
Sebastian shook his hand. “Thank you so much. I don’t know what I would have done had I lost her.”
“Well, you don’t need to worry about that now. Go on, in you go.” He pushed Sebastian towards the door.
“Hi,” Olivia whispered. She looked dreadful.
Sebastian rushed to her side and kissed her. “Don’t ever do that to me again,” he said, shaking his head. “You frightened me to death.”
“Where’s the baby?” asked Olivia.
