CHAPTER 22
The air was thick with excitement as Dan stepped out of the limo into Leicester Square for the premiere of ‘Catch me if I Fall’. He waved to the fans and turned to help his mother out of the car.
“Oh!” she exclaimed. “This is exciting, isn’t it?” She linked her arm through his and started the walk down the red carpet with a beaming smile on her face.
Dan’s name was being screamed from both sides of the red carpet where fans had been camped out overnight to bag the best vantage point. Both of his main co-stars were ahead of him and already being interviewed by the waiting media, but Dan wanted to mingle with the crowd and thank his fans for their support.
“I’m just going to sign some autographs, mum. Why don’t you go on in? Maddie will take you.” Dan waved at his publicist, w
