Georgiana had been away for almost three weeks. Instead of going home after her stint in Montreal, she had stayed while Dan’s film completed shooting in the city, and then gone with him to Los Angeles.
When they were out in the evenings, going to the best clubs or joining his famous friends at the city’s finest restaurants, they were draped all over each other. The paparazzi was having a field day with them. Everywhere they went they were followed and photographed.
She only rang home when she knew Sebastian wasn’t around, and ignored his calls and texts to her mobile. They were always along the same lines:
You’re plastered all over the newspapers.
Stop making a bloody fool of yourself and come home.
